Scientist – B: 01 Vacancy
- Qualification:- Candidates who wanted to participate for NIRT Scientist job should have MD in Microbiology from a recognized University or First/Second Class M.Sc. + Ph.D in Medical Microbiology from a recognized University.
- Salary Structure:- Rs. 15600 – 39100/- Grade pay – 5400/- Per Month
Age Limit:- 45 years
Selection Process:- NIRT admit card 2017 will be issued to conduct the Written Test for Scientist vacancy, and after exams candidates will be invited for Interview.
Fee charges:- Applicants who wanted to participate for Scientist vacancy should pay the below charges through Crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Demand Draft from a nationalized bank in favour of Director, National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis, Chennai.
- SC/ST/PH/Women: Exempted Fee
- Others: Rs. 500/- (Rupee five hundred only)

- Qualification:- Candidates who wanted to participate for NIRT Staff Nurse job should have Diploma in nursing or midwifery (GNM) or equivalent and registered nurse or ANM with any State Nursing Council registration.
- Salary Structure:- Rs. 18000/- Per Month
Data Entry Operator: 01 Posts
- Qualification:- Aspirants who decided to join NIRT Data Entry Operator posts should have 12th pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from recognized Board or DOEACC ‘A’ Level from recognized Institute.
- Salary breakup:- Rs. 18000/- Per Month

- Data Entry Operator: 28 years
Selection Process:- NIRT will be conduct the Written Examination for Staff Nurse/ Data Entry Operator vacancy, and after exams candidates will be invited for personal Interview.

General Instructions:-
- Applications must be superscribed with “Name of the post applied” and “Name of the Project” at the left top corner of the envelope and applications received after last date (due to Postal/ Courier delays) will not be considered.
- Candidates are required to apply in the prescribed format with complete information and attachments.
- Candidates are required to mention one valid E-Mail ID.

The list of shortlisted candidates eligible for further participation in the selection process shall be uploaded/displayed on the Institute website / through post.
- Venue and date will be intimated on the website.
- Applicants are required to visit Institute website regularly.
- Interim enquiries relating to any matter will not be entertained.
- The competent authority reserves the right to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reason. No recommendation in this matter will be entertained.
- The competent authority also reserves the right to increase / decrease the number of vacancies as per the requirement.
- Original documents / certificates will have to be produced at the time of written test., for verification.
- Canvassing in any form will lead to rejecting of application form.
- No correspondence whatsoever will be entertained from the candidates regarding conduct and result of written test and reasons for not being called for interview or selection.
- The decision of the competent authority will be final in the matter of selection.
- No TA/DA will be paid to attend the written test/interview.
- The incumbent selected will have no claim for regular appointment under ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other projects.
- Candidates having proficiency in the local language of the State and English will be preferred.
